Key:  Additions   Deletions
For speakers: all sessions are in the Seaport World Trade Center, just across the street from the Seaport Hotel and the Renaissance Hotel.

All rooms have wireless access and all speakers will have a wired connection as well. Speakers in all sessions except keynote and featured speaker sessions will convene their sessions themselves, keep time, mention the evaluation forms at the back of the room, and manage the Q & A.

AAEEBL has an office in the Fort Hunt Room on the AAEEBL floor of the WTC. Tech support is available.

For all attendees: please be sure to have breakfast before coming over to the WTC. Since we are co-located with Campus Technology, we will have over 1,000 attendees total, so allow time to have breakfast before you head to the WTC.

The registration fee for the full conference from Tues to Thurs, July 20 to 22, is $699. If you are affiliated with a member organization, you will receive a $100 discount for the first three registrants from your institution or company. For AAEEBL members, therefore, you can register for $599.

The pre-conference workshops require an additional registration fee of $200 for full-day workshops (including lunch) or $150 for half-day workshops.

The AAEEBL Annual Conference this year is being held at the Seaport Hotel and Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, July 19-22 (Monday-Thursday) 2010. The Seaport Hotel is the Conference hotel. Two other hotels are also available for conference attendees.

The Conference site is on the Harbor from which you can see the downtown skyline across the water. The Silver Line of the MBTA runs right from our conference site into town. Though most of the "T" is made up of trolleys or subway trains, the Silver Line is a bus line with dedicated lanes. It runs to the airport and also connects you to South Station from which you can connect with most other "T" lines.

If you are a walker, downtown, with the newly opened Greenway, is a 10 to 15 minute walk. The Boston Harbor has a boardwalk for many miles and a number of interesting sites and eateries as you walk. You can connect to the path along the River Charles which continues on up past MIT and on to Harvard. The views of the Boston Skyline from the far bank of the River Charles is one of those stunning views that will stay with you.

Restaurants are plentiful in Boston, but near our Conference site, the best food is in the Seaport Hotel itself. If you want to find an interesting restaurant away from the Hotel, think North End, Cambridge, Back Bay, or Chinatown.

While you are attending the conference, you will be able to get help or a question answered either by going to the AAEEBL nerve center in the DartmouthFort Hunt Room on the Plaza Level on which all our meetings will take place, or asking a person with a yellow badge. The CT nerve center is in the Harborside Room on the same level. place.

Parking: The Hotels offer parking, of course, as do some nearby lots. The BCEC (Boston Convention and Exposition Center), a long block from our venue, offers all-day parking for $10, a good rate in Boston, but that lot is open only during the day -- no overnight parking.

Driving: Do not plan to drive around Boston unless you know the city. GPS's offer only limited benefit and may take you on the most congested routes or fail to warn you which lane to be in before it's too late. Taxi service is good. The T is easy to figure out and runs frequently.

Conference registration opens Sunday afternoon, the 18th.18th at 5 pm. You must have a badge on to get into the Exhibit Hall (either a CT badge or an AAEEBL badge).

We have 8 conference rooms and will therefore have 8 concurrent sessions during each of the 11 blocks. There are 91 total sessions, counting the keynotes.
