AAEEBL Services
to the ePortfolio Community
AAEEBL is a global non-profit association dedicated to educational transformation and lifelong development. It is a vibrant community of practice that welcomes new members. During a time of rapid cultural and technological change, AAEEBL offers guidance. We are unique in that our expertise spans both teaching and learning as well as technology. AAEEBL provides connections between academics and technologists on campuses, between teachers and developers and vendors, and among a wide variety of educational institutions.
As public broadcasting organizations assert, they can only continue to offer services if you join. AAEEBL provides high quality conferences as a service to the community. The revenue to support these conferences comes from memberships and sponsorships. AAEEBL staff is not supported by government funds or an institutional framework. We are able to continue our programs and services when institutions join and renew each year.
You can benefit from the general community services AAEEBL provides for free but you can also help to assure that the community continues to grow, gain validation, and evolve into an academic field of its own with your membership.

AAEEBL is helping to weave together a global effort to transform education, workforce development and lifelong learning through electronic portfolios. Together, as a world community of practice, we have a much greater impact if we are organized to learn from and share with each other. We and our sister organizations – EPAC; I/NCEPR; ePIC; the Australian Flexible Learning Network; Virginia Tech’s International Journal of ePortfolio; the annual eportfolio conference at the University of Education in Freiberg, Germany; MERLOT; the Centre for Recording Achievement (CRA); and ePortfolio California -- collaborate to grow the international community, and to advocate for transformation in education, workforce development and lifelong learning.
